Role Overview: Pest Control Technician/Exterminator

Inspect & Identify: Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and outdoor areas to spot signs of pest activity and assess the situation.

Treat & Advise: Apply safe, effective treatments like sprays or traps to control pests, while advising clients on how to prevent future problems.
- Record & Report: Keep clear records of services performed, treatments used, and recommendations shared with clients.
Qualifications
Education: Completion of secondary school is usually required. Extra training in science or environmental studies is a plus.
Training & Licensing: On-the-job training is common, but certified pest control courses can help. A provincial pesticide applicator licence is required across Canada.
Skills: Good communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Mosquito Busters is expanding and looking for Area Managers to run operations in new service areas.
This role is ideal for organized, responsible leaders who enjoy managing people and building a successful local operation.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing technicians and service routes
- Overseeing mosquito control operations
- Ensuring excellent customer service
- Helping grow the territory

Outdoor Route Technician
Mosquito Busters is looking for reliable, independent workers who enjoy being outdoors.
- $23–$27/hr
- Company truck provided (some technicians may start their route from home)
- Seasonal outdoor work – spring to fall
Requirements:
- 5+ years clean driving record
- Able to carry a 50 lb backpack sprayer
- Dependable and able to work independently
This role is physically demanding and best suited for people who take pride in their work and show up ready to get the job done.
